Also, it would be possible to simply stimulate the satellite providers with government funding to grant discounted internet access for these customers. There are, of course, other means of taking action against unreasonable pricing of satellite internet, however, based on present economy, these solutions seem to be the most achievable and practicable. The easiest method would be the first one mentioned, however, the following two would be very easily reachable with some cooperation from the parties mentioned. Cheap satellite internet is not just a dream, but an achievable means to tackle a very real financial problem.
