Anybody that pays any attention to the different kinds of internet service available on the market today can't help but notice the incredible growth of the satellite internet industry across the nation and across the consumer population.  It was an industry that experienced slow growth at first during the early years due to the fact that a handful of technical difficulties presented serious obstacles to an excellent customer experience; yet ever since these issues were overcome a few years back the growth of the satellite internet industry has been absolutely spectacular, both in urban and rural markets throughout the country.  Of course, such amazing growth has to be based on solid facts and benefits to the end user, and this is no exception.  Here, let's take a look at what some of the most important reasons for this growth are and also at why the satellite telecommunications field will continue to grow healthily well into the future.

Another reason that satellite internet has been faring so well lately is the fact that signal latency has also been largely overcome (this problem has to do with the time lapse between a signal being emitted at one end and being received at the other).  Whereas in earlier times the latency was almost one entire second, today it is so vastly small that users can hardly tell there is one at all.  

And finally, the satellite internet industry is reputable because it offers the best in customer service, something which the cable competition is simply dismal at (and this is a big reason for satellite's growth in urban areas).
